I had a feeling of dread A feeling that this was going to be a bad day And in this bed I should stay But I got up any way And went about my normal way The first thing that happened to me I found out I was out of coffee Then when I got to my car I found the door ajar And the stereo I had spent a lot of money for Wasn't there anymore After I calmed down I also found The car would not start for me That's because they had also took the battery Well after I stopped cursing I started walking Headed for my workplace At a pretty fast pace It was not that far At least it didn't seem that way by car I walked for what it seemed like a long while But actually it had been only a mile Anyway I was tired as can be So I decided to call a taxi But the chance of doing that was quite dismal Because the cell phone had no signal So I continued walking Just as it started raining I looked for a place where I could stay dry And a church caught my eye I headed towards it at a fast stride After a moment or two I was inside It took a little while for my eyes to adjust Because inside it was as dark as dusk After I could see again I walked farther within Towards the altar Where my steps seemed to falter I was worn out so I set in the front pew Where Christ on the cross was in view I started thinking about all that happened to me today And how to me it was a bad day That's when something caught to my eye That made me let out a cry Christ had gotten himself lose from the nails And from the cross he fell Now that he was free He picked himself up and walked toward me As he walked my way I couldn't pull my eyes away When he stood before me I wanted to run but instead I went to my knees He touched me on my shoulder with his hands And I felt the urge to stand He looked me in the eye And from him came a long drawn out sigh Then without a word He led me forward To the foot of the cross That on his life he had lost Then in a non-chalet way He said, " so you think you're having a bad day" Then with a little smile He said " try hanging on that cross for a while" I think you will find You will quickly change your mind He didn't stop there though But continued telling me about the day a long time ago How do you think you would feel? To be condemned by the very ones who you healed To be spit on and cursed as you carried a cross through the street By the same ones you gave bread to eat To be beaten bloody and nailed to a cross So the very same ones souls would not be lost to and Do you still think you're having a bad day? If you're not careful from these people you might need help one day Sure won't be good on you when they turn their back on you How do you think that will feel when they do Well keep on the way you're were blind because you had none Is all the because of what you had done For all of us down here on earth Even those in gods eyes who may not be of any worth You gave us all of chance to become someone In the eyes of the holy one To become a child of is And one day live in heavenly bliss To be able to stand before gods throne And know that we can claim heaven as our own So Jesus look upon me with first when he is body was not found you were distressed Until two men who in shiny garments were dressed Told you not to look for Jesus among the dead But with the living instead Then you were relieved If only his disciples had believed Even though they did not you did Just as he had said Because you did believe You are blessed for all eternity (34) "Stages of a child of God" There are various stages a child of God must go through The first is where God with his own hands makes you Then he places you in the womb of your mother A creature like no other Then when the time is just a right You are brought forth into the light The next step involves you as a human child Where you're teaching determines if you turn out wild If you make it through this stage Before your old age Then you enter into the next step where you meet Jesus And find out what he did for all of us Even then you can disbelieve That is because by Satan you can be deceived If you believe then the next stage is when all your sins are relieved Even then you are given a choice to backslide Or in God's word to abide If you decide to abide in the word Then you are allowed to move forward Only if by God and his believe All our sins he will relieve And a place would be set aside In heaven for us to abide (44) " Amazing Gracie and her dog" Gracie was only three When she fell out of a tree From then on She could not walk or run So when all the children were playing In the Window they could see her waving They could not understand why she seemed so happy But they saw only what Gracie wanted them to see There were tears of unhappiness but not on the outside She held all that on the inside Only letting us see a beautiful smile With it she had almost everyone beguiled Everyone except her mom and dad Who could hear her crying in bed? But when they ran to her bedside The sadness would go back inside And only that beautiful smile could be seen Making her look happier then she seemed After mom and dad left the room and closed the door Gracie holding on to the bed got to her knees on the floor As mom and dad listened to her She began to say her prayers At first she prayed for mom, dad, and the other children After that she asked for forgiveness over sins Then she asked God if he were willing would he make away So with the other children she could play She knew he was busy with other things But when he had a chance she would be here patiently waiting Just outside the door Mom and dad with their knees to the floor And their eyes filled with tears Were praying to God that he would the hear They're precious child's prayers And he would help her Well God did hear And his eyes too were filled with tears The very next day An answer to their prayers came their way It was in the form of a dog That looks like it came out of a bog For it was muddy from head to tail And skinny as a rail At first dad tried to run it away Because it looked like a stray But by the time mom got home It had found itself a home For Gracie saw him And snuck out in her wheelchair and fed him After she fed him she hosed him down He excepted the bath without a sound Her dad saw her out there And came out to help her After they bathed him and he was dried They led him inside At first when mom came home and Saw the Dog she was angry Until she saw how he made Gracie happy It was so good to hear the laughter And to see a real smile one her The dog earned its right To become part of the family that night Gracie decided on the dog's name Partly from a movie stars fame And partly from how he first looked to them A Tramp is what he looked like and that's what they named him A place was made on the floor at the foot of Gracie's bed But when mom checked later he was in the Bed Mom didn't say a thing Because of the snoring she heard instead of crying A sound she so much loved to hear That sound to look away any hidden fears She might of had About tramp being bad Throughout the following days All tramp did was earn praise Like the time Gracie was helped by Tramp Getting up the handicapped ramp Gracie tired out quickly trying to get up it Tramp saw this and got behind the chair and pushed it To mom and dad this was quite amazing That he could or even would do such a thing But that was just one of the many Tricks tramp knew that made Gracie happy He was always at the side of Gracie doing what ever To put a smile on her face that would not waiver They learned that tramp was tough But he also knew all kinds stuff Like how-to fetch And how to play catch He seemed never to tire No matter what of him Gracie required Well after a month went by The family found out the reason why Tramp was there It was in answer to their prayer One day while tramp was at Gracie's side Gracie decided to climb on him and go for ride Tramp didn't seem to mind a bit He even stayed still and gave her time to sit Then he took off slowly walking With Gracie on his back just laughing Gracie was real light So the strain on tramp was slight Gracie held onto the collar around his neck At first mom was a nervous wreck And would not let her ride until her dad Put a helmet on her head Mom felt better And decided to let her She did fall off from time to time But it tramp would sit down and back on his back she would climb Gracie rode a lot on tramps back She got pretty good at the balancing act She got so good from day-to-day That no matter what tramp did on his back she would stay Then one day Mom and dad let them go out to play They ran around the back yard With mom and dad on guard When the neighbor kids came out to see To them tramp seemed like a weird looking pony At first they would not come near Because seeing Gracie on tramp looked so queer Carey was a first one to come close because of curiosity And she laughed out loud when she saw tramp was a dog and not a weird pony All the other kids came close to see What was so funny? When they got near to tramp and Gracie Their fear was replaced with glee That's when the fun Really begun After finding out tramps name They decided to play with tramp and Gracie some games They first had a big race That ended up being a great game of chase All day long the kids and tramp and Gracie played As mom and dad stood by and prayed Thanking God for answering Gracie's prayer By sending tramp to her For longtime after that it was the same The kids would come out and with tramp and Gracie they would play games As Gracie got older and heavier Tramp could no longer carry her Eventually tramp passed on His original purpose gone But it didn't make Gracie sad Because she cherished all the fun her and tramp had And she knew he would be waiting on the other side Where she would be able to walk at his side Yes tramp was a true blessing And in this story there's a lesson When things get bad and to God you pray Don't give up if it is not answered right away Be strong in your belief For God does answer prayers And when the time is right he will answer yours (45) "Heart" Hidden inside of everyone Ever beating till our life is done Although two most it is just a pump Regardless of what they think it can be it broke it we're dumped There is only one cure for us then take it to Jesus and it will mend (46) "Love is" Love is a battlefield Where the only way to win is to yield (47) "Love conquers all" Love conquers all If you're bitten you can't help but to fall And if you fall for a beautiful doll One day you will learn to crawl (48) "Love" Love can be a weapon That to a man or Women can cause great destruction Love can also heal The pain that they may feel When they are used as a token Of others affection and their heart is broken (49) "Love Is" Love is being in the arms of God In them you will have no reason to sob It is not hard to get there Just obey the words of our savior (50) "Holy" Hard to think of someone who is 100 percent pure Only one is though for sure Looking down act us from his heavenly throne Yearning for us to join him in his heavenly home (51) "New Use" Now that we have made Jesus our choice Every one of us now has a reason to use our voice We should raise it to the top of our lungs and we rejoice Use it now or use it later Show the world how much you love your savior Everyone that sees you do it may one day from you get the spirit (52) " Tears" Tears for those who avoid the holy spirits Even though they hear it A lot of people are afraid to be a near it Reason being they fear it Simple fact many people are afraid of what they can't see and what is offered to them for free (53) "Faith" From deep within A voice convicts you of sin It is up to you to listen Then it's up to you to ask to be forgiven Having faith that you are is what gets you into heaven (54) "Pride" People who put themselves before other men Reach a point in the end In which they realize too late
